Our bathroom & hallway remodel

I gutted our upstairs primary bathroom as we had main water and mold harm. The tub/shower surround utilised to be on the far wall with the window as part of the shower surround. Needless to say this brought on constant leaking troubles that ultimately led to rot and moisture difficulties. The floor was a very old ripped and gouged linoleum and now it is a heated slate floor. The toilet we decided to get new as the 1 that was in there was stained and did not operate really effectively. We didn’t feel guilty as upon removing it was date stamped from 1954. We now have a good dual flush toilet. The bath vanity is from Habitat Re-Retailer that I sanded, painted and added new hardware for a fresh new appear. You can see what it looked like prior in some of the photos. The countertop we decided on a solid surface quartz. The mirror is also from the Re-Shop that I framed out to tie in with the countertop. All new GFIC outlets were installed and I place in LED dimmable can lights all through the bathroom. These replace a six globe lighting we had above our old sink. The bathtub is a one piece that is now sitting where our bedroom closet utilized to be. Our new closet, though a little smaller sized is located exactly where the end of the bathtub employed to run. The shower door we found at the Re-Shop that was an old display 1 from Lowe’s that was still brand new. I created a few adjustments to make it custom to our new tub. To finish the space I installed a bi-fold door that has frosted panes to enable light to flow through whilst nonetheless permitting privacy. Some pictures show the hallway that was redone along with the bathroom as walls and doors necessary to be removed to get the old tub out and the new one in. The floors are red oak throughout the property and have been sanded and refinished. I have installed crown moulding all through the property for much more interest.
