Day 3 was a doozy.

The contractors dropped a wrench by means of our neighbor below’s ceiling.

They also laid our beautiful tile floor and did some operate on the walls in the kitchen, notably above the kitchen window and about the relocated sink plumbing.

Back to the wrench through the ceiling incident… So the crew has been employing our bathtub to empty out any water that has accumulated in their waste bucket and the drain backed up. They decided to verify the trap and in the approach, somehow managed to drop a wrench clear into our neighbor’s bathroom. Turns out that nearly six decades of showers led to really a collection of deposits on the inside of the catch, which was catching just about every thing and clogging the drain. They snaked the drain all the way out to the major plumbing stack, and it really is still draining too slow for their liking, but it’s functioning fine for us. The problem now is that as well a lot water is coming out of the bath faucet when I turn on the shower faucet.
